Michael Hein, M.D. - President and CEO
Dr. Hein has 20 years of clinical and leadership experience in large integrated healthcare systems, rural primary care practices, and inpatient and ambulatory care settings, as well as academic medicine and clinical research.
Most recently, he served as CMO and Vice President of Medical Affairs at CHI Health St. Francis in Grand Island, Nebraska. Before joining CHI Health St. Francis, Dr. Hein served in numerous leadership roles within the Veteran’s Health Administration.
Dr. Hein is a board-certified internal medicine physician. He also holds a master’s degree in exercise physiology from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota, and a master’s degree in healthcare management from Harvard School of Public Health in Boston, Massachusetts.
Jaime Bland - Chief Clinical Initiatives Officer
Ms. Bland is responsible for the overall management and leadership of ENHANCE clinical activities, including performance data, provider relations, clinical initiative development, deployment, management, and support.
She brings to ENHANCE years of experience leading transformational clinical projects internationally and within a large regional healthcare provider. Her background in public health, informatics, and team-based care redesign provides a unique set of skills that will be highly beneficial for ENHANCE members and our collective work to improve the health of our communities.
Previously, Ms. Bland was the Coordinator for Patient-Centered Medical Home and Health Promotion Disease Prevention programs for VA Midwest Health Care Network, based in Eagan, Minnesota. Prior to her work in the VA, she held leadership positions working as a contractor for the U.S. Army in Qatar, where she was Clinic Manager and Clinical and Informatics Analyst for Sidra Medical and Research Center–Qatar Foundation and was involved in the planning and design of new ambulatory clinics and clinical informatics systems.
Vineeth Yeddula - Acting Chief Business and Clinical Analytics Officer
In partnership with Mary Lanning Healthcare, Mr. Yeddula provides the primary support for ENHANCE’s general data analytics and reporting needs. He brings extensive experience in working with large health systems to improve patient outcomes and overall performance. Mr. Yeddula is also an entrepreneur with a passion for technology. He is the co-founder of a healthcare technology start-up based in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Prior to joining ENHANCE, Mr. Yeddula served as Senior Performance Improvement Consultant for CHI Health. In this role, he worked with key leaders in the organization on the conceptualization and advancement of a performance improvement management culture. Mr. Yeddula holds a Masters in Industrial and Management Systems Engineering from University of Nebraska–Lincoln and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (CLSSMBB), Certified Manager in Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), and a member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ).

Lori Brandl - Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO
Lori Brandl serves the organization by supporting all team members, managing the office and being the first contact interface between our customers, clients and ENHANCE. She comes to ENHANCE from the Nebraska Hospital Association where she was the Executive Assistant to the President for 4 years. Lori has over 14 years of experience in the healthcare industry through sales, consulting and customer service and has a B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Nebraska.
Tony Troester - Quality Improvement Advisor
Tony Troester supports clinical and quality improvement initiatives through data analysis and project execution. Tony has extensive experience leading cross-functional teams in achieving quality goals and business objectives and has over 7 years of healthcare experience and further work in the technology/IT field.
With a Master of Science in Healthcare Operations Management from Nebraska Methodist College and a Master of Public Health from Benedictine University, Tony brings high-end systems analysis for public and private healthcare needs, as well as strategic planning and operations execution with experience as a clinical manager. Prior to joining ENHANCE, Tony managed cardiology clinics at Nebraska Heart Institute.
Tony serves as a subject matter expert in Lean/Six Sigma and project management, holding a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, as well as a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) from the American Society of Quality.
Isaac French - Data Analyst
Mr. French supports ENHANCE’s quality and performance improvement initiatives through the monitoring, validating, analyzing, and reporting of clinical and performance data. With a Masters in Social and Personality Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Omaha, Mr. French brings contemporary analytical knowledge and skills drawn from academic research and experience within mental and physical health settings to direct his enthusiasm for improving the care and health of others.
Bob Hellem - Chief Shared Services Officer
Bob is currently Chief Shared Services Officer for ENHANCE Health Network and is responsible for identifying and working to take advantage of a wide-range of opportunities that would assist ENHANCE member organizations in lowering their costs of care delivery primarily in the supply chain, materials management and purchasing/procurement arenas.
Before his current role at ENHANCE Health Network, Bob spent over ten years at ConAgra Foods, Inc. Where he held varying positions of senior leadership in Procurement, including VP for Indirect Procurement and VP for Packaging & Non-Commodity Ingredients, and led the Enterprise Procurement Shared Services team. Before joining ConAgra Foods, Bob spent over ten years in procurement in varying leadership roles in the pharmaceutical industry with leaders Novartis and Pfizer.
Bob has more than 25 years of Procurement experience in addition to more than five years’ experience in Logistics Engineering and Supplier Quality Engineering and has worked for various industries including Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, OEM, Medical Device, and the Aerospace and Defense industry. Bob has worked for several Global companies and has significant International Procurement experience. He holds a B.S. in Industrial Technology from the University of North Dakota and an M.B.A from St. Thomas University.
Tom Frette - Chief Affiliate Relations and Communications Officer
Tom Frette is responsible for developing relations with ENHANCE members and building a high-performing network of providers and hospital leaders throughout our region.
Mr. Frette brings a strong background in strengthening existing programs and developing new resources to integrate and coordinate regional medical institutions. For the past year, he served simultaneously as Director of Nebraska Medicine’s Provider Network, and as a member of the senior executive team at ENHANCE Health Network.
Previously, Mr. Frette held positions at the University of Nebraska at Omaha for 23 years, culminating in the leadership of the university’s athletic department. He also served as Sports Medicine Coordinator at Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital from 2009 through 2010, where he implemented a comprehensive sports medicine program and secured grant funding for a concussion prevention, evaluation and treatment program.
Mr. Frette holds a Master of Arts in Physical Education with emphasis in Exercise Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education with a minor in Athletic Training from the University of Northern Iowa.
